COMPLETED INSTRUMENTATION PROJECT

CMS 71 MW PDB POWER STATION, BAGHABARI, SIRAJGANJ

Location : 71MW Gas Turbine Power Station is located inside the premises of the power station at Bagahbari, a river port on the northern bank of river Atrai. The geographical location is Longitude 89º35'E and Latitude 24º08' N. It is situated on the Nagarbari - Bogra Highway at a distance of 30km from Nagarbari and about 50km from Bangabandhu Bridge. The port is mainly used for transhipment of liquid fuel from oil tankers to the oil depos of Padma, Meghna and Jamuna oil companies.

Customer Metering Station (CMS): When GTCL planned to transmit gas over the Bangabandhu Bridge, it was decided to bring gas at Baghabari to run the 71MW power plant. In order to do this, a Customer Metering Station (CMS) was built by GTCL in 1999. This was a turn-key project done by M/S T&T S.p.a., Italy. Engineering Networks Ltd. installed and tested the instrumentation of the station as a sub-contractor of Messer's T&T S.p.a. Italy.

RMS 360 MW AES POWER STATION, HARIPUR, NARAYANGONJ

Location : Haripur Power Station is situated on the bank of river Sitalakhya in the District of Narayangonj. The geographical location is 90º32"E and 23º8"N at a distance of 20 KM from Dhaka.
	Regulating Metering Station (RMS) : Supply, installation & commissioning of the RMS station on a turnkey basis was awarded to M/S T&T S.p.a. of Italy. Engineering Networks Limited has been engaged in the installation and testing of Electrical and instrumentation job as sub-contractor of M/S T&T S.p.a.
The site work started from 1st February 2001 and completed on 15th April 2001.

RMS 450 MW AES POWER STATION, MEGHNAGHAT, NARAYANGONJ

	Location : Meghnaghat Power Station is situated on the bank of river Meghna in the District of Narayangonj. The geographical location is 90º32"E and 23º8"N at a distance of 30 KM from Dhaka.
Regulating Metering Station : The RMS station on a turnkey basis was awarded to M/S Tormene Gas Technology S.p.a. of Italy. Engineering Networks Limited has been engaged in the installation and testing of Electrical and instrumentation job as sub-contractor.
The site work started from July 28, 2002 and completed on 31st October 2002.

ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION INSTALLATION WORKS
FOR SCADA (78 STATIONS) OF G.T.C.L., BANGLADESH.

Supervisory Control And Date Acquisition (SCADA) : 21 gas fields have so far been discovered in Bangladesh. All the gas fields are connected to a national grid which extends from Horipur in the North, Sangu (offshore) in the south and Baghabari in the west. Gas is transmitted and distributed through 78 stations comprising of CMS, RMS, DRS, City Gate, Valve Stations etc. In order to operate such a network efficiently & reliably, it is essential to have information regarding operational data and status of the stations. To achieve this, Gas Transmission Co. Ltd. (GTCL) of Petrobangla, a Corporation under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Govt. of Bangladesh decided to install Supervisory Control And Date Acquisition (SCADA) System for its Gas Transmission Network in Bangladesh. GTCL has awarded the job to M/S SERCK CONTROLS LTD. of UK as Contractor. Engineering Networks Ltd. have been appointed as Sub Contractor of M/S SERCK CONTROLS LTD. for Instrumentation Installation, Testing and Commissioning for all the sites covered by the SCADA System.
